Welcome to PhyStudy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PhyStudy website and services (the "Service"), operated by PhyStudy ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

PhyStudy is intended for students preparing for competitive exams (JEE/NEET) and related educational use. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.

3. User-Submitted Content

Any content you submit, upload, or generate through the Service — including but not limited to quiz topics, prompts, or inputs — is your sole responsibility. You agree not to submit content that is illegal, infringes on third-party rights, or is otherwise unlawful. We do not pre-screen user submissions and are not liable for content you choose to submit. We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms at our sole discretion.

4. Subscription and Billing

PhyStudy offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier (currently ₹99/month), processed through Razorpay. By subscribing to Pro, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel. Subscription terms, pricing, and quiz limits may change with reasonable notice. Billing cycles, renewal, and cancellation details are described in our Refund/Cancellation Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, source code, and underlying technology of PhyStudy are the exclusive property of PhyStudy and its licensors, protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent. Quiz content generated for your personal use is licensed to you for individual, non-commercial study purposes only — you may not resell, redistribute, or republish it.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Quiz content on PhyStudy is generated using artificial intelligence (including third-party AI models) and is provided for practice and self-assessment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or exam-relevance of any generated question or answer. PhyStudy is a study aid, not a substitute for verified textbooks, coaching material, or official exam resources, and should not be relied upon as your sole source of exam preparation. We are not liable for any outcome — including exam performance — arising from reliance on Service content.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to hack, exploit, reverse-engineer, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, quotas, or payment requirements through technical manipulation
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service or generate content beyond your plan's limits
  • Interfere with the Service's normal operation or other users' access
  • Misuse the Service for any purpose other than personal exam preparation

Violation of this section is grounds for immediate account suspension or termination, at our sole discretion and without refund, regardless of your subscription status.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine — in our sole discretion — that you have violated these Terms, including but not limited to the conduct described in Section 7. You may also terminate your account at any time; see our Refund/Cancellation Policy for details on how this affects billing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhyStudy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to exam results, data loss, or service interruptions. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
